Great episode! It’s nice to hear honesty from a grapher and not the ‘beating around the bush, secretive’ type of information. Listening to Garrett does make me wish I was into graphing in college in the early-mid 90’s. Tons of great bands (Bush, RATM, Cypress Hill, Ozzy, Sheryl Crow, Smashing Pumpkins, Natalie Merchant, etc) made stops at my University. And, there was another huge University only 40 minutes away…
On a side note, Garrett recently did a 50/50 with Goo Goo Dolls booklets and they all came back signed perfectly. I hope to repay the favor for him with their new album when I see them in IL this summer.
Thanks for the feedback! I feel the same way about graphing when I was in college. I definitely missed out on some big bands and comedy acts when I was at UMass.
Great note on Garrett, doesn’t surprise me that you had a good experience with him.
